Comments

Ninox has a built-in comments feature that allows users to add text comments on records.

Whilst the interface is clean, the comments feature is fairly limited as it’s not possible to interact with it programmatically or via the API. If either of these cases are required, we recommend creating a dedicated table for comments that can be linked to any other table. (Tell me more)

Record History

The cloud versions of Ninox record a comprehensive history of every change made to a record. This can be viewed on a per-record level, by clicking the i Icon amongst the tabs on each record, or globally for the whole database.

Teams

Ninox teams are “Workspaces”. Each Team can contain multiple databases. Teams can also have multiple users invited to them. All users within a team can access every database (the permissions need to be set within each database).

Within Ninox public cloud, server resources (in terms of processing power) are contained to Teams. This means that if a very large process is running in one database within a team, the performance of other databases within the team may also be affected. For this reason, we recommend using separate teams for each database.
